Mercer Island home staging designed for the home you’re selling
Mercer Island sits between Seattle and Bellevue in Lake Washington, with neighborhoods like the North End, Town Center, First Hill, East Seattle, Mercerdale and the South End, and waterfront homes along both shores. The City of Mercer Island is known for its quiet, wooded streets, and its homes range from updated mid-century classics to luxury waterfront estates.
Buyers here expect quality. Furniture has to match the level of the home, because cheap or poorly chosen pieces lower how buyers see its value.
That’s why every home gets its own design. We plan each room around the architecture, the windows and the way buyers move through the space, and we scale the furniture to fit. Oversized pieces make a home feel small, and undersized pieces make it feel cheap. Mercer Island home staging done right feels warm, elegant and rich, and inspires buyers to want the home as their own.
A recent Mercer Island home we’ve staged
This updated classic opened into one bright great room, with a reclaimed wood beam, a fireplace and a sea-green kitchen island. We kept the furniture light and low so the space felt open, grounded it with textured rugs and warm wood, and carried the look through the bedrooms and out to the covered patio.

Why sellers choose IntExt Staging
We own everything it takes to stage a home beautifully: the furniture, the art, the warehouses, the trucks and the crew. With the inventory to stage more than 100 homes at a time, our Mercer Island home staging gives every home a full, cohesive design, never whatever happens to be left in the warehouse. Our designer personally selects and orders our furniture. As a result, it stays current with today’s trends.
We stage vacant homes only. An empty home is a controlled space, so it shows exactly like the listing photos at every showing, and our furniture stays free of pet odors, stains and wear. Read the full comparison in Vacant vs. Occupied Home Staging.
And we’re dependable. Because we own our inventory, we never cancel a booking because furniture runs short. Much of our business comes from referrals, because brokers touring our listings ask, “Who did your staging?”
What Mercer Island home staging costs

How the staging process works
It starts with a short video walkthrough so we can confirm the square footage, which rooms to stage and your budget. We send a proposal designed around your home. Once it’s approved, our crew delivers and installs everything in a single day. Schedule your photographer for the day after staging, so every room is settled and camera ready.
When your home is under contract, we recommend keeping the staging through inspection. We pick everything up about a week before closing. For every step in detail, read The Home Staging Process, Step by Step. Brokers can also see A Broker’s Guide to Working with a Home Stager.
We also stage throughout nearby Bellevue and Seattle, as well as Kirkland and Redmond.
